The Amber Ridge Vineyard is a hillside vineyard is located immediately adjacent to the famed Gary Farrell Starr Ridge vineyard. It was planted in 2000 with pinot clones 115, 667 and 777 on 101-14 rootstock and was adopted by several other high-end pinot wineries for its first harvest in 2003. The vineyard is farmed by a seasoned veteran who practices sustainable agricultural and other viticultural practices that put us at ease. We've been fortunate to secure a combination of all of the clones that bring out the best of this tremendous Russian River site. While there are no guarantees in life, sometimes you just feel like something might be the "next big thing." This vineyard has next big thing written all over it.
