2011 Pinots receive Accolades
Wine Enthusiast awards the 2011 Whitewing 92 pts.
Lots of ripe, spicy complexity in its fine example of a Russian River Pinot Noir. It's dry and crsip in acidity, with pomegranate, cola, black cherry, mushroom and sandalwood flavors that are deep and long inthe finish. Shows real class, and should develop in the bottle for 5-6 years. -S.H. (5/1/2013)
Wine Enthusiast awards the 2011 Ringneck 92 pts.
Cellar Selction
A distinguished Pinot Noir that shows its coastal orgins in brisk tannins and citrusy acidity. Beneath the astrigency and tartness are imoressive cherry, currant, cola, sweet tobacco and sandalwood flavors that finish with great complexity and style. Certainly seems like a wine for the cellar. Your window of drinkability is 2015-2019. -S.H. (5/1/2013)
